Bug description

When running the Nextcloud client app on Windows 11 for the first time and connecting to a Nextcloud server with a certificate signed by a root CA that is not present in the Windows certificate store (certmgr.msc), the Nextcloud client displays a warning that the certificate cannot be verified because the root CA certificate is missing.

After this message, the root CA certificate appears in the Windows certificate store, but it is necessary to restart the Nextcloud client to get rid of the warning.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Nextcloud Client on Windows 11
  2. Make sure your server certificates root CA certificate is not in the windows certificate store.
  3. Start Nextcloud Client
  4. Click "Login"
  5. Type in the address of your server
  6. Click on "Next"
  7. The certificate warning should appear

There should be no certificate warning.
