Operating system and its version
OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631)

v5.5.207
Is the bug present in the latest PDF.js version?
Yes
Is a browser extension
No
Steps to reproduce the problem
Open the attached PDF (SiemensTest.PDF) in any pdf.js viewer.
Zoom in around the schematic blocks.
Observe yellow rectangles behind certain components.
What is the expected behavior?
No yellow rectangles; components render cleanly as in standard PDF viewers.
What went wrong?
Opening the attached PDF in pdf.js produces unexpected yellow rectangular backgrounds behind certain schematic elements. These rectangles should not be visible and do not appear in other PDF viewers (Adobe Acrobat, Edge, etc.).
The issue is most noticeable around connector‑like blocks in the diagram. The yellow fill appears to be an internal vector rectangle that pdf.js incorrectly renders as visible.
