Qt dlls have hardcoed build tree paths in the dll (you can easily check this with an HEX editor).
Do not delete any Qt buildtrees folder, as suggested in the vcpkg FAQ to free up some space, or you will break your setup.
If you delete such folders (I did it to free up to 100 GB of space), dlls will no longer be able to find/open/use plugins.
