- Jane likes altbot and follows him (giving consent, but there is no way of knowing if it is informed consent)
- altbot shoots her a short message with some information and waits for "y/yes" (thereby ensuring informed consent)
- Jane replies with "y" and altbot follows her back (after having the informed consent confirmed)
The current issue is: people are following altbot (and thereby consenting to having their stuff uploaded somewhere) without a way of making sure their consent is informed. This change would solve this.
