Haven't tested, but this may fix #873 (compilation on aarch64-freebsd is currently broken on latest stable release v1.8.2) |

Probably integrating #873 (comment) (that patch as is breaks non-FreeBSD systems, do it needs some conditionals like those introduced here) would be the best solution? |
