Steps to reproduce

• open a map with a WMS layer
• select layer in TOC and open settings
• select feature info tab (first from the right)
• select template
• click on the pencil button (edit custom format)
• type in the textarea

Expected Result

• Response of typing should be more fluid

Current Result

• Response of typing is really slow probably due to actions triggered on each letter
