Flutter web apps on iOS were forced to use sentences instead of words when TextCapitalization.words was specified, in order to work around this particular bug : https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148504

That bug was fixed more than 4 years ago so it should be safe to use words now.

With this change, legacy devices that are still on specific versions on iOS 13 or lower might experience the old WebKit bug when TextCapitalization.words is used, however the Flutter developer who expects such users can work around that bug by detecting the user agent and using TextCapitalization.sentences conditionally, in order to get the existing behavior prior to this change.

If you are not sure if you need tests, consider this rule of thumb: the purpose of a test is to make sure someone doesn't accidentally revert the fix. Ask yourself, is there anything in your PR that you feel it is important we not accidentally revert back to how it was before your fix?

Reviewers: Read the Tree Hygiene page and make sure this patch meets those guidelines before LGTMing. The test exemption team is a small volunteer group, so all reviewers should feel empowered to ask for tests, without delegating that responsibility entirely to the test exemption group.

I'd recommend doing a version check for iOS 13.

From my point of view, a version check for iOS 13 shouldn't be done in the engine because it enforces an incorrect behavior.

Additionally the reported bug is not exclusive to iOS 13 but it affects some devices on iOS 11 as well, for example :

If the developer specified TextCapitalization.words but we enforce TextCapitalization.sentences that is now a different bug that Flutter is introducing.

As of this moment, https://iosref.com/ios shows that there are no iOS devices where the Max iOS version is iOS 13 meaning that every iOS device can update to a higher iOS version which would already contain a fix for the ancient bug.
