Description
Steps to reproduce
- Create new project
- Set
showSemanticsDebuggertotrue - Lauch project, wheter on:
3.1 Web
3.1.1 Execute an specific command to force accessibility overlay
3.2. Android emulator
3.3 Android device
No clue on how to diagnose whats going on in order to fix it, tried on different computers with same result... not sure on how to find out what is going on
Expected results
Accesibility overlay showing up
Actual results
In case of web, execute the following JS code in console:
document.querySelector('flt-glass-pane').shadowRoot.querySelector('flt-semantics-placeholder').click({force: true});Only when this code is executed and click on the running app on browser, accesibility overlay shows up
If any Semantics widget is added to app, then executing that Javascript command wont work, nothing changes, no accessibility overlay is showing
In case of Android (emulator or device), nothing happens
App does not changes to show accessibility overlay
Code sample
Brand new project with sample code, setting showSemanticsDebugger to true:
import 'package:flutter/material.dart';
void main() {
runApp(const MyApp());
}
class MyApp extends StatelessWidget {
const MyApp({super.key});
@override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return MaterialApp(
title: 'Flutter Demo',
showSemanticsDebugger: true,
theme: ThemeData(
colorScheme: ColorScheme.fromSeed(seedColor: Colors.deepPurple),
useMaterial3: true,
),
home: const MyHomePage(title: 'Flutter Demo Home Page'),
);
}
