Allgemeine Frage: Soll eigentlich in der Dokumentation die Höflichkeitsform (Sie) benutzt werden? Bei dem lockeren Ton in der englischen Dokumentation habe ich mir eigentlich immer "du" vorgestellt.
@tiangolo In German, there is a difference between formal and informal pronouns. The existing translations seem to use formal style. Should this be kept?
Ich habe die Diskussion mal in einem anderen Projekt mitbekommen. Schließlich war der Konsens, dass es besser ist, beim "Sie" zu bleiben, da Entscheidungsträger das lesen können, und das macht dann einen unprofessionellen Eindruck. Dem stimme ich zu. |

Thanks for asking @GeorchW! In Spanish we also have the distinction, and I tend to lend towards the informal version, that's what is used in Spanish. But in German, as @nilslindemann is the champion of German translations, I'll take whatever he thinks is best. 😎 |
