@aleksmaus AKAIK the failures doesn't seems related to a change here.

Looking at the output of the failure PR I see logs mentioning an OSS version of the Elastic Agent, I am not sure if this is making the job fail but it shouldn't be there.

@ph , it should not fail for that reason, publishing docker images from local to the internal docker-registry is harmless implementation, since it happens in the CI rather in the build system itself and it's accessing a third party system, it tries up to 3 times, but if it fails it will not fail the build at all.

As far as I see the issue was when running the e2e-testing job, somehow the 8.1 branch is gone :/ https://beats-ci.elastic.co/job/e2e-tests/job/e2e-testing-mbp
