No point in casting and then using exprt's op0 method -- use array() and compound() for index and member_exprt respectively or don't cast.

The term 'l-value' is very specific to C -- while the concept is useful in general, I'd try to find a language-indepent name. |

Is "lvalue" really specific to C? I believe it has been introduced by Kernighan and Ritchie, but I think it's nowadays used much more widely. Wikipedia at least happily attributes this to Computer Science in general. |
