Update ubuntu version used by travis #1311
Description
We've been using trusty. #1309
But based on https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/reference/trusty/, Trusty is EOL by Canonical, try updating to a newer image and see our Trusty to Xenial Migration Guide..
We may want to do this for all supported branches.
