This breaking change doesn't impact us, see avast/retry-go#49 (comment):

If attempts is set to 0, we'll now retry ad infinitum until retryableFunc succeeds.

I'm assuming before the change setting to 0 did not run the function at all, and now it does infinite retries. Since we set it to a non 0 value this doesn't impact us
