Developed and tested on Lucid 64 with source based installs as required. In particular the find of BerkeleyDB is very fragile and I don't expect it to work on other systems w/o a little testing. To use cmake after installing the prerequisites: mkdir build cd build cmake .. make

I've merged the CMake changes from https://bitbucket.org/dkaparis/bitcoin-cmake/overview and https://bitbucket.org/hsoft/bitcoin-clean I've tested it on Ubuntu Lucid.
