@KazuCocoa is the new version published? I tried to downgrade python client but 2.1.3 is not available to restrict the selenoum to use 4.0.x as mentioned in the linked issue. Is there anything I missed? Thanks for your response. It is 2.1.4 for now. not sure why, but 2.1.3 did not in the list while https://pypi.org/project/Appium-Python-Client/2.1.3/ existed. |
Thanks @KazuCocoa , and i believe this 2.1.4. is the workaround for appium/appium#16503. Is my understanding correct? |

moving forward should we just reimplement the commands that selenium removed, but in the appium client? so we can be compatible with selenium updates? |

Selenium 4.1 dropped non-w3c commands, while still appium client needs them.
