Describe the enhancement requested

pkgdown has the ability to automatically link issue numbers, but I believe it does not work for the two issue trackers and currently only the Jira number can be used. (#12472)
This means that from now on you will not be able to use automatic linking for issues that do not have a Jira number, so you will need to replace all existing issues with GitHub issue numbers and link to GitHub.
