• Create a custom resource definition for defining the unified cluster network and node topology
• Provide a uniform topology API for users to define their workload scheduling constraints in a PCS spec.
• Create API constants to define topology domains for region, zone, data-center, block, rack and NUMA nodes.

Why is this needed?

Network and node topology aware placement of workloads is critical for optimal and deterministic performance in high-performance clusters.
