Rutube is Russian youtube-like service, that was founded in 2006.
It was not popular in Russia itself for a long time, until YouTube started blocking accounts with pro-russian media and account of 2 Russian prankers, that spoke with UK Minister of Defence about Ukraine [1].
After that there was a lot of discussion, that YouTube will be probably blocked in Russia, because Facebook*, Instagram* and Twitter are already blocked since March 4, 2022.
