MCore bump auto-fix status for main:

Classification: Fix must ship with the bump
Evidence: On 2026-05-30, PR #4087 bumped MCore from f63a46e4598ae49677f0e99e6d350765670815aa to 52d1d681d6000e5da867b9b100c14648e4f85de9, and that MCore commit updates Energon from ~=6.0 to ~=7.0. The failed CICD NeMo run 26681202010 had Launch_Unit_Tests_Core job https://github.com/NVIDIA-NeMo/Megatron-Bridge/actions/runs/26681202010/job/78644734968 and Launch_Unit_Tests_Diffusion job https://github.com/NVIDIA-NeMo/Megatron-Bridge/actions/runs/26681202010/job/78644734958 failing with ChatMLSample / DiffusionSample rejecting __subflavor__ and HFEncoderTaskBatch / QwenVLTaskBatch missing __key__ and __restore_key__.
Fix PR: #4089
Guards: Added local Energon metadata field guards in src/megatron/bridge/data/energon/metadata.py; TODO removal condition is when Bridge no longer supports megatron-energon 6.x. Removed stale guards: none.
Validation: On 2026-05-30, uv run pre-commit run --all-files passed on the CW interactive partition. On 2026-05-30, focused uv run python -m pytest tests/unit_tests/data/energon/test_hf_encoder_task_encoder.py tests/unit_tests/data/energon/test_nemotron_omni_task_encoder.py tests/unit_tests/recipes/qwen_vl/data/energon/test_task_encoder.py tests/unit_tests/diffusion/data/common/test_diffusion_sample.py tests/unit_tests/diffusion/data/common/test_diffusion_task_encoder.py tests/unit_tests/diffusion/data/flux/test_flux_taskencoder.py tests/unit_tests/diffusion/data/wan/test_wan_taskencoder.py tests/unit_tests/models/nemotron_omni/test_nemotron_omni_conversion.py -q passed on the CW interactive partition with 59 passed and 32 warnings in 1.24s.
Next action: Review fix PR #4089 as the bump-plus-fix path for main; rerun/replace the automated bump path after that lands if maintainers prefer to keep #4087 as the final bump PR.

Closing as superseded by the newer same-family automated main / mcore-main bump #4092, which passed CI on 2026-05-31 and was manually merged by automation as commit 9a84146bbfe13a092714c2626fe3286198ec6a53. The Energon 7 compatibility fixes needed by this older bump landed separately in #4090.
