Opening profile starts out with it wrapping early

Steps to reproduce the issue / Reasons for adding feature:

1. Open profile A.
2. Open profile B and connect.
3. Profile B output wraps early, they're saying that it is half width, which sounds right.
4. It continues to wrap early until you go into settings window and click Save, no need to change number.

Sep 1 PTB is fine, and Sep 2 PTB has problem, and #6207 was accepted shortly after Sep 1 PTB was built.
