Consider how to version plugins and distribute them #51

Description

@luttje

When introducing #39 I ignored for now how to manage versioning plugins. Though it may be beneficial to tell which version of a plugin is installed, if a problem occurs.

Additionally I'd like to think on how contributors can distribute their plugins. I'm somewhat inspired by how Lua Language Server does this with their LLS-Addons repository. However I do not feel like maintaining that is best for the community. My fits of productivity for FOSS are too sporadic.

Something to think about, but low priority for now, since there's more critical bugs and features that are required to be fixed and added.
