Could you just comment out the tests instead? As mentioned in the original PR, I suspect that the new tests discovered a different/new issue. CC @vchuravy |

I really just don't have a concept of what this does right now, and we generally try to avoid adding features that don't have tests. Please feel free to re-open a PR, there's no general limitation on doing un-reverts! |
