Description

@ShalokShalom

Please note we will close your issue without comment if you delete, do not read or do not fill out the issue checklist below and provide ALL the requested information. If you repeatedly fail to use the issue template, we will block you from ever submitting issues to Homebrew again.

  • your problem was from running the official install or uninstall script?
  • you carefully read the output and it was not a git fetch or other connection issue to GitHub (that Homebrew has no control over)?
  • after installation: ran brew config and brew doctor and included their output with your issue? If you couldn't install: provided your OS version with the output of your issue?

What you were trying to do (and why)

Install Homebrew.

What happened (include command output)

It suggested to me the next steps for bash, while I use fish.

What you expected to happen

The next steps for fish, as shown in here.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions (by running brew commands)

I did put exec fish in my bashrc, to still use bash as my official standard shell, and use fish for all interactive use. While the installation was fish used for sure.

I dont understand bash, so I am not sure how you are detecting the session.

P.S: I now added fish_add_path /home/linuxbrew/ to my fish configuration file, as this is the recommended way of doing it. I dont understand what your script tries to do, I assume this is working as well. Just mentioning it for the sake of completeness.
