Sit Up Straight – Friday Fictioneers Flash Fiction

The Friday Fictioneers is a friendly writing challenge hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. The task of the challenge is to write a microfiction story in 100 words or less for the prompt picture.

All the Fictioneers’ stories will magically appear when you click on the little frog. Reciprocation is the life of this challenge!

This is a re-blog because I lack drabble ideas lately but wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year.

I guess everything in my poor head goes into the fantasy story I’m currently writing. I wrote this drabble two years ago, there’s a flood in it, should fit.

An Elite-druid standing on the beach at sunset playing the guitar–fancy that! It has to be an Elite, it all fits: the clothes, the overconfident stance… and he plays the blues. What does a murderous hypocrite know of the blues?

Writing Month

Hello fellow Writerlings, this year I’m participating in #WritingMonth because the NaNoWriMo admins have lost their marbles and sold their souls to AI.

There is a brand new website, still very much in development, that lets us all meet and hopefully interact, and support each other. https://writingmonth.org/

There will still be bugs, but it will get better. If you are interested, I’m gahlearner there.

Sadly, my FridayFictioneer creativity is AWOL at the moment.
