History Dean Winchester is the eldest son of John and Mary Winchester. He lost his mother in a freak fire that occurred in his younger brother’s nursery when Sam was just six months old. After the fire, his father became obsessed with what might have killed his wife and the ex-Marine became a hunter and took the brothers on all his trips. Dean and Sam grew up knowing that the monsters under the bed, and in the shadows were real, and while Dean embraced the “family business”, Sam shunned it and left. Dean is his father’s son. He never once questioned John Winchester’s way of doing things, and he is a hunter through and through. It’s sometimes a grey area as to whether Dean does it to save people, or just so he gets to kill something. What isn’t in question is Dean’s devotion to his brother once he and Sam are brought back together when their father goes missing, and later dies. Dean will do anything for Sam, even to the point of making a deal at the Crossroads to sell his soul. He is given one year with his brother before the Hell Hounds come to collect. |
Verses Canon - Just like it says on the box. Will occasionally include Season 8, but all posts will be under a cut to avoid spoilers for those not caught up. Regarding RP: I don't like spoilers, I don't play so there's spoilers. Most of the time the Dean that's out and about has nothing to do with current canon. Note the second - I don't play Wincest, I don't play Dean/Cas either. This Dean is as straight as they come, and not into his brother. |
