A few words about Kyle Rittenhouse

  1. He was innocent. Not “found innocent”. Not “got off on a technicality”. Innocent.
  2. He should never have been prosecuted. The law is clear on this. It shouldn’t have taken a jury to decide. The judge should have dismissed the case on it’s merits.
  3. The prosecutor should be dismissed and disbarred. This is a clear case of using the power of the state to maliciously prosecute an innocent man for political gain. This is a criminal offense on the part of the prosecutor. This is exactly the sort of thing an unbiased DoJ exists for. Instead, the Biden DoJ is already looking into the possibility of bringing federal civil rights charges against Rittenhouse.
  4. This is typical of the Left. They will often drag innocent people into court on charges that simply have no merits. Then they dogpile the charges with other ancillary offenses and present the accused with a choice: Plead guilty to a small offense or we will bankrupt you defending yourself and then risk going to prison for life. This should be a crime. No innocent person should be compelled to admit to guilt simply because they can’t afford the trial. Yet this is how prosecutors behave every day in this country. This is why I believe the plea bargain should be illegal. Every criminal case should be proven in court.
  5. It is also typical of the Left to continue to charge people when they know the law is not on their side because similar cases have already been decided against them. Like how DC continue to prosecute gun possession cases despite the Supreme court telling them that the way they enforce those laws is unconstitutional.
  6. The Left is unhinged. The entire news establishment today is crying in their cornflakes about the injustice of letting an obvious murderer walk free. Feature after feature interviewing the dead men’s family and friends and talking about how they were such awesome people. For the left, everything is a “my team” versus “your team” battle with no middle ground. The Left cannot simply admit that there was no reason for them to uphold the rights of violent criminals to roam the streets.

A few words about Colin Powell.

Colin Powell died last week. I am sure it was a great sadness and loss for his friends. May he rest in peace.

I never met him, but I lived in the Army that he ran. Im not really interested in media claims about how he rose through the ranks. I will limit my remarks to things I know.

1. Colin Powell started americas longest war. Not with his performance at the UN. His main crime was promoting the “cracker barrell doctrine”.

He proposed that you can’t invade a country, break all their stuff and just leave. You have to stay and rebuild what you broke. No matter how much it takes. Even back then, he was all about America paying the bills for the international jet set crowd.

2. The media is making a big deal about him being the last republican with a conscience. The media has had Powell’s back since the beginning and never went after him like they went after Bush and Cheney. The media has consistently told the story that powell was tricked, fooled, and lied to by state department (which Powell ran), and intelligence agencies. It is just the same old anti-bush media monolith still promoting the propaganda they created in 2000. They will never publish the real truth.

3. Powell is not a Republican, and never was. He registered as a Republican for political reasons, recognizing the value a black republican general would have instead on just being another black democrat. He always voted for the democrats on every ticket, and donated money to them. In this, he is not alone. Most senior officers in the military are borderline socialists.

Dune: update

Despite the obvious flaws of this movie, it seems the entire entertainment media is lock-step promoting it. Almost as if they are being paid to do so.

An alternative explanation is that the anti-trump campaign, which is still going on, has completely driven from writers all sense of independant thought. They are now only capable of rewording the talking points they are given and. Collecting their pay.

The fawning and ingratiating is beyond just a few Herbert fan boys. It is 100% lock step. And the real star is the single-named alternatively pretty actress. She has few lines, and a totally flat delivery, but its obvious the producers intend her to be the star. If you doubt, just read the reviews.

Even the lackluster financial reports from opening week are being cast as “beating projections”. This movie may not even cover their costs and the media is declaring success .

The only movie that the media industry has promoted more loyally this year is the Chinese propaganda film about the Korean war. North Korea! The best Korea!

Movie Review: Dune

It should have been called “doomed” or “Done”. One of the worst movies ever made. Let us count the ways:

1. Zero character development. You end the first movie after two and a half hours not knowing anything about the main characters, their motives, or any sense of why you should care about them. The damned ornithopters had more screen time than the main character.

2. Casting. Deeply pathetic. It’s like a movie made as a jr college summer project where only the producers friends could be in it. There is nothing about any of the characters that is in any way related to the story. Once again: wokism trumps everything in Hollywood. All the characters had to be non-white.

Let’s make the main charachter a simpering curly haired soyboy who looks like he has never been inside a gym, instead of the character the AUTHOR created who spent most of his days training since early childhood.

Let’s cast a girl who is “alternatively pretty” instead of one who is either actually pretty or one who have the tough characteristcs on her face of tough dessert living.

Let’s cast an old black woman as the planetologist, who is also supposed to be the FATHER of the “alternatively pretty” dessert girl but who genetically is painfully obviously not related by blood ties.

Let’s hire two big names from the a-list “Aquaman” and the guy from Guardians of the Galaxy, and give them each about 6 lines COMBINED. Then kill off Aquaman.

Let’s only use white people as villains.

3. Technology. In the last 2 attempts, the ornithopter was just background tech. In this version, the ornithopter is the star. It almost has more speaking parts than the lead. And it it painfully stupid. It is obviously mimicing a dragonfly, but the book didn’t call for a “bug-copter”. ORNITHOPTER, with ORNI, for “bird”. It should have been birdlike in form or function. If the stupid CGI department couldn’t get that right and just had to show off their awesome skilz, they should have just renamed it. But no. Despite all the other plot devices that got buried or twisted, the characters clearly called this an ornithopter.

A really, really bad movie. Even people who love the story are going to have a hard time following it. And they won’t go back for part 2. I doubt part 2 will even be made. This will be another Last Air Bender “trilogy”.

Dear Mr. President:

… or whoever is using the autopen and issuing orders. WRT: Afghanistan, just STFU already. The Taliban are listening to everything you say and will have video showing you are lying the very next day.

Yes, dogs were left behind.

Yes, those helicopters still fly.

Yes, Americans (afghans with us passports) were left behind.

Yes, important sensitive equipment was left behind.

Americans left in Afghanistan

No. Wrong. False. This is a totally false thing the media is telling you. The only Americans left in Afghanistan are guarding the airport.

The refugees are not American. They are Afghan. They were born in Afghanistan. Their parents were born in afghanistan. Their children were born in Afghanistan. They speak the local dialects and have jobs in Afghanistan.

They have American passports, but there is nothing “American” about them.

The news media is lying because they know real Americans no longer give a shit about Afghanistan or Afghans or women’s rights or LGBTQ rights in Afghanistan. So the media casts them all as “Americans” to keep you caring.

Stories from the front lines

An elderly afghan man thanks Allah he is out of Aghanistan.

Hey dude, Allah didn’t build that C-17 that carried your sorry ass out. The USA built it. American taxpayers footed the bill for buying them and the Air force manning, training, and fuel to have them available for this day. You contributed NOTHING. Allah would have left you there.

People in Hell want ice water.

It’s a very old saying, and very true.

From the front line of Afghan refugee operations: US forces provide pallets of bottled water for them. But the water is hot, (because it was in the sun) so they don’t want it. They see people putting it into refrigerators to cool it and they form a line to get some, not understanding it will take HOURS to reach room temperature, let along get chilly. As soon as they touch it, they decline to take any.

They also resort to using the bottled water to wash their feet. It’s free and there is plenty so they don’t care. They don’t consider that they are at the leading edge of the wave and that water they are dumping on their feet may run out for the people following them in the next few days.
