Pimp guilty of pimping
Ms ghislaine maxwell was found guilty of several charges involving sex trafficking.
And yet it wasn’t mentioned in the trial WHO WERE THE CUSTOMERS. As if that DIDN’T matter at all.
Seriously?
Does anyone else get the feeling that every freaking high ranking politician on the planet is into this and the system exists to protect them?

NATO expansion
Despite their abject and total failure in Afghanistan, I support NATO expansion.
In fact, the very next country that should be offered membership is Russia.
Then the USA should withdraw from NATO and let the europeans (including Russia) solve their own problems and pay their own bills.
As I have said before, I am for the total withdrawal of all US forces from foreign countries. All of them. While we are at it, close half the embassies and consulates too. There’s no reason why all those pissant countries should merit a US embassy. They can contact the usa on the internet. When we need to consult with a country, we can send an envoy. Massive military and diplomatic expansion is a recipe for meddling in other nations when there is just no reason to do so.

Webb Telescope Launched.
Despite being named after a White guy who would have owned slaves if he had lived prior to 1861, and probably looked at a woman with impure thoughts, the James Webb telescope was successfully launched.
Of course, this is “success” by NASA’s standards which means, “spending gobs of other people’s money with nothing to show for it because all our products get put someplace where no one will ever see them again”.
Just going to prove one more time that there is no limit to what one may accomplish with $10 Billion dollars of other people’s money.
True, the JW Telescope is probably 100 times more powerful that the famous Hubble scope. But what is it really expected to see for all that investment? really clear pictures of things very far away, in the IR spectrum, that will then get digitized and sent back to earth where they will be reinterpreted by NASA graphic artists and published so people can go “OOOH”. This is much better than the old way back when the NASA graphic artists just made shit up and skipped the geeky stuff.
I wonder what could have been done with all that government loot instead of launching a spectacular telescope, that only a tiny handful of humans will ever use or get any benefit from. And by benefit, I mean drawing a paycheck to design and build it and then launching it into a space where no one will ever see it again. This is just like the novel 1984 where the world needed to be constantly at war to consume the excess supplies from the economy. NASA’s only mission is building pristinely expensive things and then launching them into space, never to see them again.
Even the most optimistic projections of success in this case includes only satisfying the curiosity of a few hundred space geeks. Dear space geeks: It’s nice that you have a hobby. Use your own money next time.
It is also funny in a bizarre way that all those anti-capitalist anti-corporatists people never complain about how when NASA builds something with tens of billions of sweet government cash. It’s as if they never heard of the fact that NASA doesn’t actually build anything. All of their rockets and space geek stuff are built by huge defense contractors.
For all that money invested in the space program, we haven’t learned anything that was beneficial to humans who were not getting fat paychecks for being in the World-Industrial-Space-University Complex (WiSuc).

Things we know we know.
When it comes to knowledge, there are 4 types:
Things we know we know.
Things we don’t know we know.
Things we thought we knew.
And things we don’t know we don’t know.
This is about the first kind. In the realm of COVIDS and transmissions, we as a nation have been living with it for 2 years now so we should know quite a bit. We still seem to not know a lot about it. There are some things we definitely know that we know.
- We know that whatever it is we are doing is not working. Two years into this and we still have it. Two years. It is a certainty that if what we have been doing hasn’t worked yet, in two years, it is very likely to never work, no matter how much more of it we do. It isn’t working because it can’t work.
- Masking does not work. We have been enforcing 100% masking on airplanes for 2 years and still every variant of COVID has spread to every country on the planet as if there were no borders at all. Even to New Zealand.
- “Vax” does not work. Despite having access to a “vaccine” that public health officials swore was 95% effective, then swore was 85% effective, then swore was 75% effective if you got three doses, the virus is still spreading at the same rates as when we had no vaccine at all.
- Handwashing does not work. Even perfect disinfection of hands results in a “germ free” surface on the hands that only lasts about 20 minutes before all the germs repopulate.
- Herd Immunity does not work. After 2 years, the virus should have touched enough of the population that we achieved this several times over. It isn’t happening.
- The only thing that does work is isolation. Not 6 feet isolation, TOTAL isolation.
- The other thing that seems to work 100% of the time: being an elected official or on their highly placed appointed staff. Then, even if you get the Rona, you are going to get well without a ventilator and without 2 weeks debilitating recovery. 100%. Think about that. We know with certainty that our elected officials openly flaunt the policies they impose on the rest of us, whenever they think the cameras are off. We know with certainty that they have a high percentage of co-morbidities such as obesity and advanced age. Yet not a single one of them has been hospitalized for COVID in 2 years. Not one. How does such a thing happen? Between congress, courts, governors and cabinet officials, we are talking about over a thousand people. A thousand privileged people who do lots of air travel and shake lots of unwashed hands. Not One.
- The last thing we know with certainty is that the national lapdog media is monolithically uncurious about this statistical anomaly. Not one story I can find has been published about this. Not one.

Hey America: How’s that gas price plan?
A month ago, Brandon promised to reduce gas prices by releasing oil reserves.
That was a month ago. Did it work? I’m not in America so I can’t tell. I just see that the national state controlled legacy media stopped talking about it.
I’m guessing it did not work, since it never worked before and since it was never possible for it to work and since the democratic party has long advocated for HIGHER gas prices as a mechanism for reducing air pollution/global warming/freedom.

I’m really Starting to hate YouTube
YouTube has been a huge benefit to humanity, helping bring people together and helping billions of do-it-yourself-ers learn from each others mistakes and make life better for everyone along the way. But just like TV being sold as a teaching tool bringing news and information into every home being taken over by 200 channels of sports and “reality” programming, YouTube has fallen far and fast…. and made a butt-load of money in the process. As such, they have negative incentive to improve their product and every incentive to get worse.
- While YouTube still has an impressively huge content library of useful stuff, it is overwhelmingly dominated by crap. Crap, I say. At this point, Everyone in Europe, Asia, and Africa should be banned from posting to YouTube. They are filling up the servers with absolute trash content. you know what I’m talking about:
- The videos that have no narration, just a euro-pop soundtrack and a collection of other people’s content, clipped from You-Tube without attribution and repackaged to farm free click income. There are Billions of these. The problem is that there are now so many that it becomes harder and harder to find the video that you really want to see because the trash content takes up all the ad-generating revenue “suggestions” on the search results.
- Anything that uses the words, “…On a new level”.
- Anything that uses a thumbnail that is in no way related to the video, but it’s really what you wanted to see.
Anything that uses a photoshopped thumbnail.
Hyper injecting ads. It used to be maybe one ad at the beginning, now there is one every 4 minutes. And it’s not as if they are even playing the full add. They will randomly cut off their own ads in the middle of dialog and switch to a different ad. Depending on the money they generate, some ads don’t let you “skip ad”.
Inappropriate search content: Country of origin. I am an English speaking American. When I want to see good ideas for wiring my hot tub, I don’t want to see someone wiring according to European codes. I would LOVE to have a search option that permanently excludes all content from outside the lower 48 states. ALL of it.
Random playback speeds. For no reason I can observe, some videos will initiate at a 2x playback speed.
All fake, trash content that makes the internet less useful, less entertaining, and more of a Pain in the back.
