RIP RGB

A Justice on the Supreme Court has died. Ruth Bader Ginsberg is no longer among the living. I am not one of those people who delights in the death of others or resorts to crass name calling. Her race is run. It is the rest of us who must work out the consequences.

I nominate Joe Biden to replace her on the court. And I won’t take no for an answer. The Constitution does not say a nominee must be willing. Then we can watch a month of hearings on everything Biden has ever done and failed to do and give TV time to every accuser who will come forward. It will be like a free PRO-Trump campaign ad that never ends and the National news media will have to cover it. At the end of that, he will be able to add “unfit for Supreme Court Justice” to his resume and Trump can shift to the back up plan. And after Biden as been the lead candidate, the Senate will actually vote in “plan B” without even introducing her. JUST LIKE THE BIDEN PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN.

As I said for the Kavanaugh farce, there is no need to even have any hearings. Nothing gets learned. No votes change. Just take it straight to the floor of the Senate and record the party-line vote.

I dare any Democrat to come forward and criticize the republicans for putting an old man like Joe through such a cruel joke of a proceedings. Good thing Democrats have no sense of shame and self awareness.

That would be hysterical. Right up until Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins joined the Democrats in voting to confirm him.

That would be fine too. He won’t live long and Trump can nominate his replacement in a few months.

LOL. Of course we thought that about RGB when she got cancer a hundred or so years ago.

I’m reading Letters to the Editor right now suggesting that we should wait until the American people have a chance to elect a President before we fill the seat. I’m seriously thinking about writing back to make the point that we already elected a President.
