Cloudockit does not have its own internal authentication method, so we rely on external authentication providers. Since we don’t store any passwords, we can’t be hacked and your data is always safe!

The external authentication providers are the main players in the field:

• Azure - use your own Azure or Microsoft Account (added in Microsoft Entra ID)
• Amazon - use your personal Amazon credentials, not AWS
• Google - use your Google credentials

This allows us to recognize who you are, thus which licence you are entitled to use. You can now enter the document generation process. But you will need to provide the credentials to use to generate the document. If you logged in using Azure, that’s all there is to it and we will use your identity to generate the documentation. For Amazon or Google however, we still need to have the account to use during document generation - an account that has sufficient rights to access your cloud environment.

So in essence, you can log in Cloudockit with your Amazon account, and then, once login to Cloudockit, use your Azure credentials to generate the documentation. Or conversely, log in Cloudockit using Azure, then enter your AWS credentials to generate the documentation.
