Mixed Aerial

About the class
Mixed aerial offers a dynamic fusion of various aerial disciplines, including, aerial hoop (also known as lyra), trapeze , cordelise , doubles and more.
In these classes, participants have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of aerial apparatuses, each offering its own unique challenges and artistic possibilities.
Notes about the class:
Please bear in mind that Southbourne parking is busy so please allow some time to park bit we also have a system that you can drop off a the door as we have a member of staff ready to collect and sign in your child.

About the class
Aerial silk, also known as aerial tissue or fabric.
Students learn to climb, wrap, and twist themselves into various positions and shapes. Aerial silk combines elements of dance, gymnastics, and circus arts, requiring strength, flexibility, and coordination.
It’s a visually stunning and physically demanding discipline.

About the class
This class is designed for absolute young beginners. It offers a safe and supportive environment to explore the fundamental techniques and fun of aerial arts.
No prior experience is necessary – however, individuals with some background in gymnastics, dance, or similar disciplines will also find it rewarding.
In special cases, age recommendations may be reconsidered based on individual talent and ability.

A softer, more gentle introduction to aerial arts

Aerial sling, sometimes called aerial hammock is Similar to aerial silks, aerial sling involves climbing, wrapping, and spinning within the fabric, but with the added support and stability of the single loop configuration.
This makes it an ideal choice for beginners or those looking for a softer, more gentle introduction to aerial arts.

The classes focus on aerial skills across all disciplines. From silks to hoops, students learn fundamentals in transitioning, flow, and choreography, developing their strength, coordination, and artistic expression.

Our Inclusive Aerial Class for Diverse Young People is tailored for individuals aged 18-35 years.
Developed in collaboration with the ‘Extraordinary Bodies’ company.
The class covers various disciplines, including silks, sling, hoop and more. pupils Learn essential techniques, transitions, and choreography under the experienced and supportive guidance of experienced instructors.
The class aims to, Build, strength, and resilience as pupils conquer new challenges and push their own boundaries.
Above all, pupils will enjoy the exhilarating empowering experience in a safe and supportive setting.
