Gemalto Access Client is enterprise middleware for using smart cards and USB security tokens to enable strong, certificate-based authentication. It supplies the cryptographic interfaces and drivers needed to integrate Gemalto/Thales IDPrime credentials with common workflows such as Windows logon, VPN access, secure email (S/MIME), and digital document signing. The client includes user-friendly tools for PIN management and token maintenance, along with administrative options suited to large-scale deployment. Built to work with standard APIs like Microsoft CAPI/CNG and PKCS#11, it fits into existing PKI and directory environments to streamline secure access across the organization. Note: Gemalto is now part of Thales, and this product may appear under updated branding.
