Our Core Values

Our core values reflect what we believe to be the secrets to success for our community and we work to hold ourselves and our organization to the same vision.

Curiosity

We see every question, regardless of its nature, as a chance to adapt and grow. By staying open-minded and embracing new ideas, we continuously learn and improve.

Compassion

We meet people where they are - always with grace, respect, and gratitude, valuing lived experiences and considering the broader circumstances that shape people’s lives.

Connection

At the heart of our interactions is genuine connection and community. By valuing communication and collaboration, every interaction becomes a chance to build meaningful relationships.

Courage

True courage means embracing our imperfections, asking for help, learning from feedback, and staying adaptable. We maintain clear boundaries, not afraid to challenge the conventional.

Creativity

We cultivate joyful, effective solutions with agility and initiative. By allowing ourselves the space to envision grander possibilities, we guard against burnout and explore new opportunities with vigor.

Julia Taylor

CEO & Founder of GeekPack®

Julia is a passionate advocate for empowering women and minorities with digital skills that lead to financial stability and independence. A self-taught coder and former intelligence officer, she founded GeekPack to provide a supportive community where learners can thrive and overcome barriers in the online industry.

Drawing from her experience navigating tech alone, Julia created GeekPack as a space for learning, collaboration, and growth. Her mission to equip 1 million people with in-demand digital skills by 2030 reflects her unwavering dedication to driving personal and professional success for underserved communities.

Through meaningful partnerships, Julia was able to scale GeekPack’s impact and bring resources to underserved communities. By collaborating with mission-driven organizations, she ensures that more women and minorities can access the tools they need to succeed.

From starting GeekPack in an RV back in 2018 to empowering over 10,000 people to start and grow their own businesses, Julia embodies the freedom and flexibility her programs aim to unlock.

With her dog, Ruby, by her side, she leads her team of Geeks to create lasting impact through digital education.
