I believe most Democrats would leave the Fourteenth Amendment alone;
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Amazing to me, after reading that, we even needed a Citizenship Clause, but thank goodness that happened….!
SO………Obviously, the Trump Administration is trying to stop every child being born by non citizens here becoming a citizen. Considering there are hundreds of companies in China which arrange for pregnant mothers to get to the States, put them up here, get their babies born, and VOILA, they’re American citizens with all OUR rights, this Amendment must be changed.
Liberals don’t seem to feel this way; TELL ME:
WHY IS IT THAT MORE REPUBLICANS WANT TO PROTECT CITIZENSHIP IN OUR COUNTRY AND DEMOCRATS DO NOT?
Sure, some of what worries Republicans is these children voting against American values when those babies get to voting age, but……WHY is it that PROTECTING America against open borders, too, is also fought by the Left?
AREN’T THERE ENOUGH AMERICANS WHO KNOW THESE THINGS AND CARE THAT REPUBLICANS ARE FIGHTING TO KEEP OUR VALUES IN OUR COUNTRY AND DEMOCRATS AREN’T? Or am I reading this wrong? Or has the Left really forgotten the values which made us the envy of the world until the world found out it’s easier to resent and mock us like our own Left does?
President Donald Trump offered his first public reaction after attending the Supreme Court’s oral arguments on birthright citizenship on Wednesday.
“We are the only Country in the World STUPID enough to allow ‘Birthright’ Citizenship!” Trump on Truth Social after leaving the Supreme Court where he’d heard oral arguments yesterday for about an hour and a half. Articulate, isn’t he? (UGH) He apparently left when the court made arguments against what he wants to do, sadly.
