Game Box

Two Piece Box, the most common box you could find on the market. You could custom the size you need, it could use paper insert and plastic insert to hold your game.

A tin box is a tinplate container. Tinplate metal is primarily steel with a very thin tin coating. Tin-free steel is also used. In some cultures, these boxes or cans are referred to as “tin boxes” or sometimes even “tins”. Many “tin boxes” have hinged or removable lids or covers.

Toothpaste Box is not usual for the game box, it is more common for cards or post cards.

Plane Box, It is named because its unfolded shape resembles an airplane. It is a branch of carton. It is the first choice for express packaging and delivery. It is made of corrugated paper.

Clamshell Box, similar to the plane box, it is an unusual box, only used for special customer needs.

Normally, Box was made by art paper + grey board.
Art paper used as a surface paper for printing easily. 157gsm art paper is the first option for the surface paper, and sometimes if it is requested, 128gsm art paper is workable as well.

For the box’s strength upgrading, we provide with 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm thickness for grey board options, it depends on the box size and the weight of the components.

Most common finish for box is the Matt Lamination like the left one.
Glossy Lamination is like the right one. Glossy lamination will be more shining than Matt lamination but it will have an effect of plastic.

Linen is a popular finish effect. It can usually be seen on the box, cards and punchboards. It will have a special paper grainy, but if you have many text content, we don’t recommend you to use this finish.

UV Spot is usually used for highlight some Title or some graphics, it will highlight the effect of images and text.

Silver/Golden Foil is also used for highlight the text.
Usually used on the box.
But it could also be used on your game board and cards.
We also have Laser Gold Foil now.

Hollow is not common, but some customer need this finish for some special use.

Embossed finish is a kind of raised effect.

For Insert, we offer CardBoard tray and plastic tray for option, just customized according to the components and box size accordingly.
If the components are not complicated, paper tray would be enough, which would be cheaper and time-saving, and we can do a customized printing on the surface if you want any art showing.
If your game box is large, we will suggest cardboard material, so that it is strong enough in case any heavy components strike. But if the box is small, we will advise white card paper, easy to fold and not occupied too much space.

Plastic Tray will be a good choice when the box needs a good storage, in case some small components move randomly in your game box. Usually it would be used for the game with complicated components. Plastic tray would be the best storage for each accessory placing. However, the price would be higher and with a tooling charge.

Saddle Stitch Binding is most common for the rule book.

Perfect Binding is for books. If you have story book in your games, we recommend this binding style.

Spiral Binding is used for some score pad or calendar.

Casewrap Binding (Hard Cover) is similar to Perfect Binding, but have the hard cover.

For Booklet, 128gsm C2S, 157gsm C2S and 80gsm Wood Free Paper is the common choice.
C2S paper, as known as the art paper, is the most commonly used in 4C printing. Which means it will have better on the printing effects, especially the color present.

80gsm Wood Free Paper was able to print 4C as well, but not as good as C2S. For Wood Free Paper, the best advantage is it could be written and erase.
Meanwhile, 80g Wood Free Paper is cheaper, but for the varnish and durability, C2S paper is always the better choice.

Greyboard: The frequently-used thickness of grey board are 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm. The stiffness of the grey board increases with the increase in thickness.

Black linen paper is what we used for the bottom, it is black so no need to print, and it will be more wearable than C2S

Rubber mats can also have different thicknesses. Commonly used thicknesses are 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm. Rubber mat can also be printed on single and double sides, with or without edges stitched.

Not commonly used，in a low quality and a low price.

Compared with the highest quality black core paper, the quality of blue core paper is also of a good standard, and the cost is lower than black core paper.

C2S paper (art paper) has a heavier weight, and is more comfortable than ordinary blue core paper in hand, and has stronger water resistance; it has good folding resistance, good elasticity, and is not easy to deform.

In terms of quality, black core paper is the best, but the cost is much higher than other specifications. Black core paper is rarely used in general game cards. The characteristic lies in the good privacy.

Material options, 0.26, 0.28, 0.30, 0.32mm thickness. And clear PVC cards also could be made.

If you don’t need any other finish, AQ coating is the basic finish we used. It will make your cards more bright and make the picture more detailed.

Holographic cards (also known as hologram cards, holofoil cards or simply as foil cards) is a popular type of cards for TCG trading cards or sports cards. It is essentially a wafer thin layer of rainbow foil skillfully applied onto a card before putting it through to print.

One of most common material of board game dice.
The advantage of Acrylic dice is using current tooling, the unit price will be cheaper than other material. Especially when you just need small amount for mass production.
If you want the customized dice, and at same time, we have no suitable tooling for your. You need pay the new tooling fee. And the cost is expensive.
Under this circumstances, the large amount will be more economical.

One of the most common materials of board game dice.
The unit price higher than Plastic, but the tooling cost is much cheaper than plastic.
So it will be a better choice for low quantity customer.

One of most common material of board game dice. The advantage is its weight lighter than Plastic and Resin at same size. The unit price will be up to difference tree’s wood, with tree quality higher the price will be higher. Using better quality wood, like pine wood, will make your game stand out and leave a deep impressive on the player.

Silk screen is a common printing technology used on wood, plastic, resin, and metal. When printing an image on these materials, we need to adjust the colors on the machine—this is what we call a plate. The advantage of silk screen printing is that plate charges are cheaper than heat transfer printing. However, it has a limitation: only simple images with fewer than four colors can be produced with silk screen. For more complex images with more than four colors, the level of detail will not be as accurate as heat transfer. If you are not sure whether your image is simple or complex, please provide the picture and we will be happy to check it for you.

It is also a common printing technology of wood, plastic, resin, metal. As we said on Silk Screen, Heat Transfer Printing can print multicolor image and keep a high fineness. But you have to pay the expensive color adjustment cost, and the cost are charged for each color. For example, if your have different images on each side of a 6-sides dice, but only 5 colors in total. And the plate fee will be US$ 70.00 per color. The charge will be 5 multiply by US$ 70 equal to US$ 350.00.

UV printing is a unique method of digital printing utilising ultraviolet (UV) light to dry or cure ink, adhesives or coatings almost as soon as it’s hit the dice.

Standee is used for your punch board. It could be used for hold the punch out board.
