My parents divorced when I was not quite a teen. I eventually ended up with my father, who was in the Navy, but stayed close to my mother. So, a few years back my mother was considering becoming an Episcopal nun and was making a trip to New York to visit a cloister up there, but stopped off to spend a couple days with me in Virginia. Visit over, I am driving her to the airport and we are listening to talk radio where they were discussing some aspect of human sexuality. And she comes out with this line that had me almost swerving off the road:

"You know, there were times when your father was out on deployment, when I'd've fucked anything with the right equipment."

Ack! TMI, Mom! TMI!
