Farmers Union Service Association (FUSA) Ltd. was founded in September 1938 to provide and promote insurance solutions for Farmers Union members and North Dakota residents. FUSA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Farmers Educational and Cooperative Union of America, North Dakota Division.

Today, FUSA operates as a multi-line general insurance agency, serving as the exclusive agent for both Agraria Insurance Company and National Farmers Union Property & Casualty Company. In addition, FUSA offers access to a wide range of insurance products through hundreds of national and regional carriers.

With over $600 million in managed premium, FUSA is one of the largest managing general agencies in North Dakota. The company operates under the Farmers Union Insurance brand, which is a dedicated network of more than 160 exclusive agents. FUSA serves customers across North Dakota, South Dakota, Arizona, and Arkansas. FUSA is licensed in 28 states and directly markets to Farmers Union members in many of them.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Insural Insurance Solutions, an independent agency network, the company also supports more than 450 agencies in 15 states.

CEO Mark Anderson and Chief Sales, Marketing, and Brand Officer Kevin Ressler (LUTCF, API, AIS, AFIS, AINS) lead operations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Arkansas. They lead a team of 30 professionals in sales, distribution, field production, commercial and personal lines support, marketing, and administration.
