Welcome to the FUHS Foundation

Expanding opportunities to explore, discover, and learn.

Whether you’re a parent, a business leader, a teacher, a concerned member of the community or all of the above, you benefit from the award-winning public schools in our district.

Our Mission

At the FUHS Foundation, we are dedicated to expanding opportunities to explore, discover, and learn. Our mission is to raise funds and develop resources that support educational programs at all five Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) high schools – Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook and Monta Vista. Fostering a love for learning by providing resources, support, and programs that empower individuals to reach their full potential. We believe in making a positive impact on the community by nurturing curiosity and encouraging lifelong learning.

Our Impact

Through our various initiatives, FUHS Foundation has touched countless lives. From scholarship programs that enable students to pursue higher education to community workshops that promote skill development, our efforts have yielded remarkable results. For instance, over 350 students have received scholarships, and our workshops and webinars are well received by participants.

Discovering AI: A Parent's Guide to Navigating the Future of Education

AI is already part of how students study, create, and think. But did you know that that 85% of parents experience anxiety about guiding their children’s technology development?

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 6 PM, the Foundation welcomes Amy D. Love, author of RAISING ENTREPRENEURS: Preparing Kids for Success in the Age of AI, and newly released DISCOVERING AI: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Future-Ready Kids, for a conversation that brings clarity, confidence, and a plan for your family’s future.

Remembering Hung Wei

We mourn the loss of Hung Wei, beloved former Board Member, 2025 Circle of Believers awardee, and dedicated advocate for the FUHS Foundation. Following her courageous journey with lung cancer, her fighting spirit and boundless love live on in our hearts. Please join us in holding her family in your thoughts as they navigate this profound loss.

The Hung Wei Memorial Fund has been established to honor her memory. Donations will augment our permanent Endowment Fund, which annually disburses funds to further the Foundation’s mission. Your contribution will directly support students today and for years to come—a fitting tribute to continue Hung’s enduring legacy of care and service to others.
