FTF Behavioral Consulting offers three alternative credentialing pathways for professionals who have received training and implementation experience outside of FTF. These pathways support credentialing at Level 3 or Level 4 only. Advanced credentials (Level 5 or 6) must be obtained via FTF’s traditional credentialing pathway.

General Requirements (All Pathways)

All applicants must:

  1. Review FTF’s Instructions and Scoring Rubric for the Alternative Pathway.
  2. Complete and submit Level 1 requirements (i.e., FTF PFA-SBT On-Demand or 2-day workshop)
  3. Complete and submit a PFA and SBT Workbook for their client
  4. Complete and submit the PowerPoint case presentation using the required template.
  5. Provide a signed consent form to share video/data
  6. Submit evidence from Step 2 (Open-Ended Interview) through Step 16 (CAB 5 completion across three branches) for the same client.

Language Requirement

All application materials must be submitted in English. Translations must be complete and clearly understandable. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be reviewed.

Incomplete applications will be denied. You must reapply with the corrected materials and pay a resubmission fee.

Pathway Specific Details

Alternative Pathway without Supervision

For: Professionals who have obtained application and implementation experience outside of FTF.

Required Materials: As listed in General Requirements

Fee of US$300

Alternative Pathway with Supervision I (USA & Canada)

For: Professionals supervised by a Level 6 credential holder in the U.S. or Canada

Required Materials: As listed in General Requirements

Additional Materials:

  1. Weekly meeting notes or credentialing checklist (minimum 8 weeks)
  2. Letter of verification from Level 6 trainer (FTF Template: Level 3 or Level 4)

*FTF monitors pass rates and provides feedback to Level 6 trainers.

Fee of US$200

Important: Applications are reviewed in the order received. Please allow at least 45 business days for review. Applications that do not meet requirements will be returned with feedback. To ensure your case presentation meets standards, review FTF’s Instructions and Scoring Rubric for the Alternative Pathway first. Each resubmission will require an additional US$100 fee.

FTF will monitor the pass rate for applicants trained by each Level 6 trainer and will provide feedback as needed.

Alternative Pathway with Supervision II (International)

For: Professionals supervised by a Level 6 credential holder outside the U.S. or Canada

Required Materials: As listed in General Requirements

Additional Materials:

  2. Letter of verification from Level 6 trainer (FTF Template: Level 3 or Level 4)
