In 2019, the company acquired a former Fed Ex distribution facility in Warren RI and began their most ambitious expansion project yet. F&S Electric was proud to be awarded the project in partnership with Jade and Bentley Builders for the complete ground-up rebuild of their 64,000 sq ft facility, including a 3000a service, full lighting, site lighting, 10,000 sq ft of grade A office space, fire alarm, industrial generator system and electrical infrastructure for over 100 specialized machines in multiple departments. This project required extensive design coordination between F&S, RGB architects, and the mechanical trades to achieve the state-of-the-art outcome expected from the customer.

In addition to the build-out, the project required close coordination with Jade & the rigging team to relocate all machines from their previous building and get them back online in the new facility without interrupting Jade’s customer commitments. Since the completion of the project, Jade has continued to trust F&S to provide fire alarm maintenance and testing, as well as electrical services for their continued growth.
