The story behind the company
Founded on April 1st, 1987, by Frederick (Buddy) and Sandy Souza, F&S Electric Inc began with the running joke that if their endeavor was unsuccessful, they could simply say “April Fools”. However, that was not the case.
Though the company’s journey may have started with a lighthearted antidote, it was clear early on that the Souza’s dedication to the trade would provide the foundation for a successful business.
Early on, F&S became known as a “go to” electrical contractor for customers looking to get their projects done with a “can-do” attitude and an honest approach to providing value and quality.
Over the years, the company grew significantly and in the late 2000’s, their two sons, Ryan & Jared joined full time.
Growing up immersed in the electrical industry alongside their parents, the pair’s natural transition to the team was completed by obtaining their electrical licenses and becoming more hands on with running the company operations.
At its core, F&S Electric stands by its values of integrity, commitment, and excellent customer service.
These principles have been instrumental in fostering long-lasting business relationships and cultivating a strong reputation within the industry. Through dedication to their clients and a reputation for reliability, the company has steadily grown to become a trusted name in electrical contracting for Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
