Wildlife traditionally refers to non-domesticated animal species, but has come to include all plants, fungi and other organisms which grow or live wild in an area.
Mud Creek Trail in Prince Albert National Park in central Saskatchewan, Canada, had piqued our interest when we passed by the trailhead early one morning on Waskesiu Lake. On only our second full day in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, seeing a Silver Fox and Timber Wolf made for a banner day. It was after an afternoon hike on the Valleyview Trails in search of Bison that a rarely seen Silver Fox crossed our paths. Read more
When Bob and I set off from Cape Point at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa in search of the distant stretch of glistening white sand seen from the lookout, we were in for a big surprise and a treat when we spotted a small herd of bonteboks. Read more
L’Anse aux Meadows had immersed us in the Viking history of Newfoundland a day earlier, and now, it would be time to travel to our next destination.
