Charitable gifts from estates and other planned gifts play an integral role in the future of Washington State University. The WSU Foundation offers several tax-wise giving options to support WSU’s mission while fulfilling your personal philanthropic goals.
If selecting a gift fund that includes an endowment, all monies donated to that fund will be added to the endowment by default. If you prefer to support this fund by donating to the current use, please indicate that in the comment box on the next page.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. The WSU Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is structurally separate from Washington State University and exists solely for WSU’s benefit, serving as the preferred channel for private gifts to all areas of the University. The WSU Foundation’s taxpayer identification number is 91-1075542.
