Foundation: Galactic Frontier is a strategy and role-playing game inspired by the work of Isaac Asimov, in which you captain a spaceship and travel freely through space. In your adventures, you will have to explore the far reaches of the universe, gather all kinds of valuable resources, fight off space pirates, upgrade your ship's facilities, and much, much more.

An epic story where you are the hero

Although Foundation: Galactic Frontier places a heavy focus on strategy, it also lends much weight to the story. The adventure begins with your ship being severely damaged due to an attack by pirates who stole the very important cargo you were transporting. From that moment on, you will be immersed in a deep plot, with several factions and very important characters involved. Your decisions will also determine how some of the game's storylines are resolved.

A whole universe to explore

Much of your time on Foundation: Galactic Frontier will be spent exploring the universe in search of resources or trying to complete quests. By simply tapping on any part of the vast space around you, your ship will move there. Similarly, you only need to tap on an asteroid to mine it and obtain its resources. As is to be expected, you will have to follow a series of more linear missions at the beginning of the game, but soon you will be able to explore with total freedom.

Third-person role-playing and action

Sometimes you will have to board other ships or visit areas on foot. When this happens, you can directly control your heroes and move them around the setting with the virtual stick. Your characters will automatically attack the nearest enemy, but you will be tasked with activating each hero's special abilities. Klara, for example, allows you to heal other characters, while Riaan can perform a special attack.
