Jason Momoa has unexpectedly exited Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions’ live-action Helldivers movie. While the specific reason for his departure remains undisclosed, the sci-fi adaptation directed by Justin Lin remains in active development with casting currently underway to find a new lead. Despite this news, the movie is still scheduled for a theatrical release in November 2027. The film is based on Arrowhead Game Studios' wildly successful sci-fi cooperative shooter franchise. The games follow elite soldiers known as Helldivers who fight to protect the fictional planet of Super Earth from various alien threats.

Disney and Pixar just dropped the very first teaser trailer for their upcoming original animated film, Gatto, giving fans a glimpse of a feline mafia operating in Venice, Italy. The movie is officially scheduled to hit theaters on March 5, 2027. In the film a stray black cat named Nero (Mark Ruffalo) finds himself deeply indebted to a local cat mafia boss (Laurence Fishburne).

Marvel Legends collector and self-appointed community consultant Mark was left furious on Monday after Hasbro unexpectedly uploaded a pre-recorded video containing several new Marvel Legends reveals instead of hosting a traditional livestream complete with a live chat section he could fill with "constructive criticism" such as "PASS", "BORING!!" or "Who asked for this?!". ToyFarce investigated... "I didn't have time to plan anything..." said Mark, staring at his phone. "I usually log in with a few accounts so I can spam the live chat with "Another repaint? Hard pass!", or copy/paste "WHERE IS *insert obscure character*?" and post it several times in a row throughout the stream, but they just... uploaded the video. No countdown. No chat. No community." According to sources, Mark had spent years refining his livestream participation strategy, carefully timing comments like "Boo, easy pass!" within seconds of a reveal before opening multiple retailer tabs to secure a pre-order "just in case": "I think it's constructive criticism" he explained. "If I don't immediately type 'Nobody wants this', how will Hasbro know that I, specifically, wanted something else?"
