I too will be stoked if there are swells enough for Jaws to break come mid October. That generally means we are having an amazing fall here.

Skiing laps with my 14 yr old was pretty much 95% of my days this season. Super fun. And this is the first season they have ever waited for me at the lift. Once they released they could speed past me, they were all in. OTOH, I complete more of my turns, so there is that.

And there were a ton of usual Heavenly skiers at KW last weekend because having 6 and 10 is worlds better than downloading a gondola after lapping Tamarack 32 times before noon.

KW skied excellent today. Parked right under chair 6 at 11:50AM, on the slopes by 12:15. Zachs was softening, but still pretty smooth with some snow pushed around. Sure. You are not wrong. But, once the snowpack has gone through enough freeze/thaw cycles and consolidated as tight as it can, corn can happen as late as May.
