Sigma Theme (but tried default theme with same issue)
Contact form works fine, which means smtp set up correctly?

All settings set to send Comment emails

Simply want an email sent to admin that a new comment was submitted, as in:
"Notifications: E-mail admin: whenever: A new comment is posted / A new comment reply is posted"
Both boxes are checked.

Nothing in debug log as when smtp DOES misbehave.
