Redirecting
« on: December 30, 2024, 12:52:01 PM »
Hello, My website appears in Google search, but when I click on the link I am redirected back to Google. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thanks

The redirection to Google also occurs in my Google business when you click on the website button, and you are only redirected on the mobile phone, not on the desktop.

Two plugins were responsible for the redirection.

1. Auto-Language Plugin
2. Cookie Language

I checked Cookie Language and it can only redirect to osc_base_url().
Same applies to Auto Language, so not really sure how plugins could redirect back to google :)

I have the same problem. The site has two languages. When I go to one language, everything is fine. Then I click on a link with a different language, and it redirects back to Google. I didn't install any auto-redirect plugins.
    upd
I solved the problem by unchecking *Add language code into base URL (domain.com/xx/)* and creating a couple of rules for old redirect pages in .hatacess. I haven't found any problems with Google's reverse redirect yet.

I think this is a problem with cookies. The first time, English cookies are recorded, and the second time you immediately switch to another language (Russian) and it redirects you back. (At that moment, the cookies are overwritten to Russian) and you can access Russian normally again, but then it redirects from the English language ))))

    Could be.
I've rewritten plugin, there is new version 1.3.
Test it, only Osclass 8.3 or higher.
Lang code in URLs and language based subdomains must be disabled.
