For my server it is about that NWNX on EE is still mostly for Linux only servers and not Windows ones. Yes I know I am probably the server owner with the least coding skills....but still.....maybe it is the same reason many other 1.69 servers are still there...

If Beamdog was really serious about this game they should not have released it on Steam without their own version of NWNX and at least to some extent updated textures and models...

I'm just not buying into this "we dont want to change anything because then we might break something" approach. If some donkey decided to build their whole module using only placeables they deserve whats coming to them....

The game is far from done and although that might not be the main reason it has not been released on GoG I don't see any rush. It should never have been released on Steam like this. That "buff" seems steep indeed. Wands in general could need a slight buff though....they tend to always get sold and never be used (the way it is now).... ...naturally depending to some extent in what world you are playing maybe...but still...

Cruise control key/setting/toggle for the character. Probably 2-4 different speeds. Walk, run and searchmode/sneakmode. Edit: Oh...and backwards maybe. Yeah I know I play too much World of Tanks ;-)

I decided to still keep the server in the old version for various reasons. Would be nice with some people to play with. Preferably with voice coms on Discord...but feel free to solo it also or whatever...

Cool. I guess a serverlist always could be indefinately improved I guess. I'm however lacking some NWN1 servers. My own to start with :D Edit: My bad, it seems to be there now :o

Can't believe the game was released on Steam without this. The game just need a similar system that was developed by players for NWN2. About server admins that decided to go the "repackage" route you can sleep in the bed you made for all I care...

The fact that this game still is not catering to "over the shoulder" view like 99% of all the MMO's today is the main reason I am still here 16 years after the first release of this game...

Actually...I don't agree there, the graphics where quite good at release and far beyond it as well. There is more to graphics then polycount..and NWN had the whole "picture". The only problem is it might not look the best today.

Not sure if posted yet but wouldn't it be cool if you can do short, local client "pause game" also in multiplayer? The game would naturally have to keep rolling in the background...but this could help for targeting etc. Naturally a pause like this would need to have a time limit also...as well as running the risk of thing…
