  • I think it is rather involving that your party members also have interests in the world. It means you need to choose and prioritise which quests you do first. If you can delay everything then what is the point of certain quests. Maybe it is good if you part ways with npcs if they want to do something else more important to…
  • Do you use tab to highlight objects? It should help.

  • Ah fair comment. I did not expect them to be critical. Nothing breaks if you miss one :)

  • Did you freeze or petrify the otyugh? Maybe the wand does not drop if you shatter the beast upon death.

  • Theee should be one in his bedroom, one on the otyugh, one on the clone and three in the mephit area. I always search all locations before the wand room and I never miss one. What is broken is a pillar but it does not have a trap associated to it.

  • They probably gave him enough pick locks and find traps for the dungeon. His special traps always succeed, correct?

  • Lawful just means that the character has a very strong moral code. But whether that is related to world law, integrity or whatever, that you do not know. I prefer Awful Evil.
  • I guess you are correct. DnD is what you make of it : )
  • ah sorry, you are right. I thought it was 26/51/76/00 but it is 51/76/91/00. Do you play brackets for all classes? Because in BG a straight 18 does not exist for warriors and they default to at least 18/01 at character creation, while non-warriors skip all the brackets and only use the straight 18 and 19 values. Actually…
  • Only a /01 increase is a harsh rule. Wouldn't you consider 18/01 to 18/26 to get to the next beneficial bracket? At least the tome would give some benefit then, right? I think iwd does that, right?
  • Carry weight is all clothing, weapons and inventory. She is probably wearing too.many heavy items or her backpack is too full.
  • You are right. I was comparing to Nalia and Aeries faces
  • The white highlight in the face is a bit too much. Perhaps add a slight yellow tone to it? Also, the face itself is zoomed a bit too much comoared to the bg portraits. Other than that it fits right in. Nice job!
  • I always interpreted Irenicus' experiments in his dungeon, with the goal to extract the divine essence, to be the cause of the protagonist losing some control over the bhaal influence. I never needed Siege to come up with a different interpretation of it and a Hooded figure that has no business being there. As mentioned,…
  • The fight would be only with the shadow thieves though. The slayer bit is also strange to me because the spellhold part then also makes less sense.
  • Ah now I remember the worst part of SoD that I pushed down into my darkest recesses of my memory. I totally dislike the hooded figure. It adds nothing to the story except a warped connection towards bg2. I would still like a mod that disables only him. XD
  • The first time I played Siege I did not understand the story at all. I also had no dialogue options to inquire or debate with Caelar on that bridge section. The only thing pulling me forward was that the way the areas and the armies were set up was nice and refreshing. There is indeed a different need to solve fights…
  • I actually like the note that it becomes easier for a mod to balance all items contained within it and keeping them interesting. Some vanilla items are available so early in the game that they overshadow most items that you find later in the adventures.
  • That is undetstandable. Stand alone campaigns need to be really good and versatile in order to feel the urge to replay them. Then again, normal mods also become repetative content to be squeezed for just some XP and items because you already know all the outcomes.
  • Before Siege of Dragonspear came out I asked the developers if this could work. This was the response from Scott Brooks. I do not know whether it works. Life became busy with my firstborn daughter starting to walk and talk, and I never even found any time to test it. I played SoD well after release. I have a standalone…
  • Oohh. I missed this one too. Amazing work. I wonder how you manage the time to create these vast mods.
  • Looks amazing. I also wonder when the questline will begin. Chapter 6 makes a lot of sense, but then you need a tie-in with the plot that is already taking place there. Hmmmm. It is very intriguing.
  • If you accept the thieves guild and they get caught doing their job then they end up.in prison and you have to go there to bribe them out. I think that is all.

  • What about High Powers: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/60325/mod-high-power-baldurs-gate-version-1-2/p1
  • I do not have the ability to check, but I am planning another game. Can mislead clones and simulacra still sing bardsong? They do not have to stack, I just want to know that once I get level 6 spells or scrolls I can get the vanilla bardsong with ultimately +3 luck as well as the bard doing its own things.
  • Thanks. I may give it a try in a few days
  • I am curious. Which programs, tools abd websutes do you all use to create these inspiring portraits?
  • Great job! I have tried a few times myself, but I always slipped up somehow or got stuck with life and never continued the run necause I forget what each fight will do once I get there. You all have amazing skill and knowledge of the game and encounters.
  • You need the house south west of where he is standing. If you killed him on the street then there is to my recollection no follow up. If you engage in dialogue then there are several options to investigate once you show him the red cloth.
