Can anyone advise as to the specific version numbers and install order to get Might & Guile, Faiths & Powers, and Tome & Blood working together? Using the latest versions and the order in the M&G readme causes a failed install for M&G feat system, and doing F&P -> M&G -> T&B gets successful install but some bugs, notably…

Bug report. You dropped a '~' at the end of line 17 of ay#bneera.d *Edit*. More profound than that, actually. The Neera-Eldoth banter breaks the install (BELDOT.DLG not found), %BGT_VAR% doesn't work at all... Maybe my own install is fubar, checking that now. But, yea, totally dropped a '~' at least.

Was a package for her SOD portraits ever compiled?

Stupid question; How do you close the journal window?

A consumer expressing their dissatisfaction with a product is not 'ruining it for you'.

No. My relationship with Beamdog has been destroyed. I will always love and enjoy Baldur's Gate, I just won't enjoy the non-canon fan expansion to it that happened to be published on Steam, nor any of their future projects.

Having one of my childhood heroes (Minsc) attack me like that has poisoned any interest I'll ever have in purchasing a Beamdog game. One of my main hobbies is running a club. We play games, and lots of us have different opinions about lots of things. Religion, politics, etc. I disagree with many of them, but because I am…

I seriously hope this gets released as a standalone mod, rather than spread out as divine/arcane components in TnB etc.

Do you know if the game will end if the player gets permadead?

I'm reasonably sure that they are photoshop mockups.

I also live in Arizona.

@meagloth - Unless you are planning to go ivy league (and have a family that can pay for it), HS grades don't actually matter very much. The only exceptions to this are classes which can transfer to your local university. If you are a minority or from a very low income family, you will get significant scholarships unless…

@Anduin I don't want you to feel backed into a metaphorical corner, here. I'm told that I often come off as abrasive due to my directness; to be clear, I am not trying to judge you. The point that I am attempting to make is that many things are offensive to many people - there is no objective measurement for…

Ah, my apologies then. I assumed (apparently incorrectly) that the 'warnings' section of a user's profile was visible to all.

I think you missed my point. I'm not attempting at pedantry. I genuinely find that you called someone out to change a word - not because you had a problem with their ideas, but the existence of that particular word - offensive. I find it *at least* as offensive as you or your hypothetical 'younger reader' might find that…

So, this is a touchy subject; Beamdog is obviously a buisness who has it in its best interest to promote a friendly and welcoming forum environment, additionally the moderators are not required to 'answer for' or necessarily 'justify' their choices. As a result, 'because I said so', or some variant is a not-unexpected…

This is a legitimate question - why? What rule was broken by that post? Is it some part that was edited out, or merely that he used florid language to ask that someone not interact with him?
-
Can you please annotate your post for those of us who find requests for censorship offensive? I would link Episode 10, Season 2 of Penn & Teller's wonderful program 'Bullshit!', but the copyright mafia has made that difficult.

Well. This is new.

Memory is less important than the skills to ask good questions. This has always been the case, but emerging technology only makes it more important. Almost everyone in an industrialized nation carries around a device with them that can access nearly the total sum of all human knowledge - all they need to is be able to ask…

Can't edit strings, unfortunately. Anything that doesn't touch the dialog.tlk should load fine, though!

This is definitely not the right part of the forum.

Wow, I didn't see that coming. What's next, Arnel's Nalia? Lord Mirrabo's Imoen Romance? Chloe TOB?
-
Nope, that was totally Patrick Stewart.

Er... Gravity is a theory in the same way that evolution is a theory. Scientific 'laws' are a method of mathematically codifying a theory, ie, they are a component of a theory, not 'one level up' from a theory. 'Theory' in a scientific sense means that a particular idea is consistently able to make accurate future…

Cosmos isn't a 'scientific web series'. It is a 'televised scientific literacy delivery vehicle', and part of that is decoupling the scientific *concept* of a theory with the colloquialism of 'theory', while emphasizing how well established theories are virtually indistinguishable from 'facts'. I don't know if you've been…
